JOB SUMMARY
As a member of our engineering team, you will contribute to cutting-edge wireless communication technology and product development. Successful candidates will be engaging in Physical Layer system and algorithm design for high data rate wireless communication SOCs.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
This position is responsible for:
- Design and simulate algorithms for various wireless communication PHY processing blocks, while performing comprehensive performance and complexity evaluations, including trade-off analysis
- Implement fixed-point models of PHY processing blocks, and design micro-architecture and programming interfaces to facilitate RTL development, as well as support bit-true verifications between C++ and RTL

Competency is based on education, training, skills, and experience. In order to successfully perform this job, an individual must demonstrate the following knowledge, skills, and competencies:
- Strong background in communication theory and digital signal processing
- In-depth knowledge of OFDMA-MIMO wireless communication systems
- Experience in designing PHY-layer processing blocks such as synchronization, channel estimation, equalization, forward error correction, and more
- Proficiency in C++ programming for algorithm development, simulation, and testing
- Experience with pre-silicon verification, post-silicon bring-up, and testing
- Familiarity with Wi-Fi or LTE/5G technology
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3+ years of work experience is a plus
